Even in 6th grade math— my daughter was finding the mean, median and mode. Mode was described as the “fair share” and she had to know this for the test and what it meant. It’s worse in other subjects: NY has a common core curriculum, and even if the teacher’s don’t like it they must follow it to the letter if they want their kids to pass state supplied tests.
I remember one math test question forced the student to lie to get it right. Hmmm now I wonder why they would promote lying to indoctrinated leftists in training?
