If we're going to change they way young people think about conservatism, about their nation, and about "the way things oughta be", we have to go to them...they're not going to come to us. That means we need to wrap our patriotic message in action movies, filled with explosions, car chases, and full-auto weapons fire. We need to wrap our conservative, pro-individual message in heavy metal and (gag) rap songs. We have to pool our money to buy control of NFL and NBA teams, and force the players to behave themselves, dress and talk like responsible adults, or lose their jobs and go back to washing cars in downtown Chicago.
Or we can continue to throw our support behind out-of-touch Pubbies like Romney, expect kids to tune in to Limbaugh and Hannity of their own accord, and skip World Star Hip-Hop in favor of the Heritage Foundation website. IOW, we can continue to get our a**es kicked, and lose our Republic sooner rather than later.
Scouts Out! Cavalry Ho!
And how do you propose to convince enough people to do all of this on a scale large enough to make an impact?
Maybe we need both of our approaches. The boycotts and selective patronizing to put the money in the hands of the companies and states that agree with us, and then using that leverage to accomplish some of what you said.
