Preppers’ PING!!!
I also just got this from Marcella:
Sorry, I missed the mask question. An N95 mask is sufficient for this virus that is passed by coming into contact with body fluids. The virus does not pass through the air by coughing or sneezing so that is a huge help. Medical gloves are necessary for the caregiver and patient. Patient cannot touch nose or mouth or eyes while wearing these gloves. The gloves are to avoid body fluids from getting on care givers gloves.
With flu, such as H1N1 that passes by coughing/sneezing/body fluids, both the patient AND caregiver should wear N95 masks and caregiver stay as far away from patient as possible and wear medical gloves and patient should wear gloves.
I consider much of my personal preparations, private.
Thanks again.
Ebola can be spread by coughing and sneezing according to the information I’ve seen.
“The virus does not pass through the air by coughing or sneezing so that is a huge help.”
My wife pointed this out. I saw “Dr Nancy Snyderman” talking about how “It doesn’t pass through the air so air travel is completely safe” but in the very same segment they showed how they were outfitting the air ambulance with a negative pressure capsule to contain the patient being transported.
So, obviously the air ambulance doesn’t believe that there is no mechanism by which ebola is transmitted by coughing/sneezing.
So which is it?
