Out of 30, there’s TWO in Texas. Every story out today has proven to me they know it’s here and it’s too late to shut the barn door on illegals and international flights. I generally agree with what you say. The rate of infection, and the anecdotal evidence of the circumstances of infection, scream "out of control". However, I don't think that they are bringing the doctors home because they figure that it doesn't make any difference. Remember that politicians and bureaucrats worry more about optics than anything else. To bring them home, and then have reports of people infected state-side, would make them appear culpable, even if it really didn't make any difference.
