The Left hates Israel because Leftists hate God.
Leftism is a political ideology conjoined to hedonism and the persist of self gratification in virtually every Avenue of life.
The existence of Israel points to the existence of God. And not just any God, but a specific God...one that condemns much of their actions and desires. A God who also has every right to call them to account.
God is by nature spirit, and though he holds total dominion over his creation he is not affected by it.
Since the left can not attack God directly, they must attempt to eradicate the Jewish in order to try to maintain their denial of God's existence in their own mind. This is why the anti-theists we get on these forums inevitably go off on an anti Israel rant after a few years and ride the lightning.

By American standards, Israel is none of those things. I surmise the author is a Brit, and might not be real familiar with the State of Israel.
No - their boss hates God and all of God’s people. The rest are symptoms, not causes.
