The conflict raging in Gaza is different this time. While Hamas' rocket attacks and Israel's military actions may look familiar, they're taking place against a whole new backdrop.
"This is unprecedented in the history of the Arab-Israeli conflict," says CNN's Ali Younes, an analyst who has covered the region for decades. "Most Arab states are actively supporting Israel against the Palestinians -- and not even shy about it or doing it discreetly."
It's a "joint Arab-Israeli war consisting of Egypt, Jordan, Saudi Arabia against other Arabs -- the Palestinians as represented by Hamas."

100 of Gaza’s rockets have landed in Gaza and Hamas is killing dissidents and others accused of being collaborators.
What land is he talking about that Israel is “occupying?” Israel has not occupied Gaza since 2005..and if he’s talking about Israel in general yeah there was a war, the 1967 war that my father fought in and Israel won the war..tell him to deal with it! I guess there is no changing his mind, the second they get the propaganda BS it warps the mind and that is pretty much it. Just ask him one question..what does he want Israel to do..be good boys and girls and enjoy the constant rocket attacks..be good boys and girls and let Hamas come in through tunnels and kill men, women, and children..ask him bottom line, what does he want Israel to do?
The Israelis have “occupied” that region for 3700 years. They are the indigenous people.
I think the reason the left hates Israel so much is because Israel is a democracy..and that is something the left despises..that and Capitalism of course..that is why they feel such a strong bond to Muslims..Muslims hate America, Muslims want a caliphate..and that is what the left wants
