Makes sense that the thoughts are so incoherent and self defeating.
To me the cause is a lot bigger than McConnell and petty vindictiveness against him, as reprehensible as he is.
The anti-Mitch conservatives should have rushed to support him, quite openly and loudly.
This is to be able to take credit for his win and marginalize the GOPe attempts to marginalize us.
Now there is a two bad outcome dynamic.
1) Grimes is KY senator. That is the worst outcome.
2) McConnell wins despite conservative opposition.
It isn't "petty." It is deadly serious. That man funded racist attacks against us. Do you comprehend what the consequences of this will be if it is seen to have been a successful tactic?
It will be copied nation wide. I do not think you appreciate the severity of what he has done to us. This is not about one Senate seat, it is about giving our enemy a weapon with which to beat us to death.
If we do not make this man pay for that treason then we are done. McConnell crossed the Rubicon, and he has made it a contest of will between us and him.
If he wins, our movement loses. The tactic will be repeated again and again, and the tactic will as a result gain strength with each new accusation of racism.
They will beat us to death with that word, and everything we attempted to accomplish will be lost.
That's really helped in the last 20-30 years.............
That makes too much sense for some here that can not see past the end of their nose, which they seem happy about chopping off.
The time to have booted Mitch was in a the Primary. Where were all these “lesson teachers” then?
Otherwise we are being asked to join their circular firing squad.
