STUNNING DEVELOPMENT: DC Police Chief Lanier just told force not to arrest a person who can legally carry a gun in DC or any state.
More -- DC police chief using guidance from AG -- grants full reciprocity for all open and concealed carry from others states.
All that money, all that shame.
If the chief is actually a liberal and if liberals actually believe the things they say we all MUST believe then perhaps this is a demonstration project in the expectation that DC will now experience shootouts on every block of the city and then we can get serious about taking away citizens’ guns again. Just a thought, carrying their assertions to conclusion.
This better not be another satire scoop!!
Dc just went AC
So the District of Criminals is Constitutional carry for the moment?
Indeed. That hasn’t happened in quite a while-until now...
Imagine the opportunity to have an armed peaceful march, now is the time..
Anyone want to guess the next, “when pigs fly” moment?
Maybe when we pass national reciprocity?
This is not up to 500 posts yet? Where did everybody go?
“How fast do you think crime will drop and how far?”
If this holds, violent crime will likely fall sufficiently in a year that the before and after statistics will be almost incontrovertible.
I sold all my guns to friends and family privately....
“This is not up to 500 posts yet? Where did everybody go?”
It’s a Sunday night and unlike freeloading EBT lazy leeching liberals, we do have something called “work” tomorrow. The thread will hit 500 by tomorrow easy..
Yup. You beat me to it. The original license has a total cost of ~$200 mostly because you have to take and pass a course from a Utah qualified instructor. They are around. Call a local range, or the NRA.
The renewal is ~$15, can be completely done on the internet, and the new license comes in less than 2 weeks. A wonderful state.
GREAT JOB, kristinn
But there ARE still limits on who can carry and they work in our favor. If someone is prohibited from possessing a firearm, they are clearly prohibited from carrying.
Secondly, there are very few legal guns in DC.
My belief is that most of the carrying is going to be done by people from surrounding states for a long time.
Lastly, I agree it does not really comply with the court order, but it is a great step forward. I am hoping the Mr. Gura will talk to the DC attorney and the Judge on Monday, and we will get compliance on the entire order.
somehow i don’t believe this is going to work out to gun owners’ satisfaction.
i just can’t trust them - libtard cops. or their empty, lying words and mouths.
four us presidents were assasinated.
yes, none in dc if i recall correctly.
right now oly the criminals - civillian and got thug - run around dc with guns, and afaik none of them have cared to take a shot at any of our presidents.
legal gunowners arent gonna instantly break bad and become assassins. these people simply do not know how to think logically and coherently.
