Think of it this way. Are you going to sit back, do nothing, and waste your golden years? I have maybe 10 yrs left on this earth, and I'm going to make something of them..this country's not going down on my watch. You can adjust your thinking and instead of giving up, get out there and do what you can i.e. answer the call of TX Sen. Jeff Sessions...hit the keyboard and FAX your reps. Go to www.numbersusa.com, sign up, hit the Action Board button, compose your own fax or use theirs..also be sure to include the full zip code plus 4 digits of the reps you want to fax. THERE IS NOT CHARGE, it's fast & you've done your part and have contributed to the solution, instead of the problem by doing nothing. Most of all, We the People need you. Forget about what happened to you in the past, about the people who ignored your warnings, etc. That was then and this is now. Pick yourself up, brush yourself off and fight for this country, my friend.

I think most understand what you’re saying....but those who have to live with this in their backyard, day after day,....and after countless phone calls etc. etc. marches..etc.etc. to oppose this they see nothing done. They know they have not been heard.

Even Perry had to finally.. ‘call’.. the guard and he got nowhere with Washington prior. Citizens don’t have the option to call on anyone willing to back them up. So you must see the utter frustration for those who have to live in it daily.

Additionally....we all have times where it just seems hopeless and it’s then others carry us until we watch get another wind to do what can be done. But IMO until we’re in the streets of Washington, as Egypt did in their country...by the hundreds of thousands....phone calls are not going to change the tide of these beasts allowing things to go on as they are.
