Friday marked the fourth day of jury deliberations in Jesse Ventura's defamation lawsuit against a former Navy SEAL, and the jurors still had no verdict when they were dismissed for the weekend.
The jury has logged more than 24 hours of deliberations. It is slated to reconvene at 9 a.m. Monday.
The case centers on whether Chris Kyle, a SEAL sniper-turned-author, fabricated a story that he decked the former Minnesota governor after Ventura bad-mouthed SEALs and the war in Iraq. Kyle was shot and killed at a gun range in Texas in 2013, but Ventura continued his suit against Kyle's estate.
Kyle's widow, Taya Kyle, lives in Texas but has been in Minnesota for the trial at the federal courthouse in St. Paul.

No, if she wins she should show that she is the bigger man and let it go. And she should tell that to pussy the former body to his face in public!
Considering his entire profession was a fake, his own actions and speech have been consistently stupid enough all on their own to defame him, the man protests too much.

JV is pretty easy to identify. Kyle didn’t even say it was him in the book and used a different name. When asked about it later Kyle admitted it was JV.
Nobody would have really known about this if he hadn’t sued except those who were there.
To sue a widow over such a trivial matter is pathetic and proof of what kind of man he is.
That's about $24 too much...
He’s suing the widow of an American hero. A hero who did far more in real life then jesse managed to do even in his movies.
