Proving that numbers don’t tell everything. Royce is my Rep and I’ve talked to his staff often.

If you can ever find a quote where he advocates enforcing the law and deporting illegals already here I’d like to see it because his staffers have never yet produced one.

I’ll be shocked if he doesn’t join Boehner in “comprehensive immigration reform” once the election is safely behind them.

Every time he votes against amnesty he is saying that he wants the law enforced.

Royce Comments on Pelosi's Amnesty - October 31, 2006 - "Instead of another amnesty, we should make sure that our immigration laws are enforced. Strict enforcement of immigration laws at consulates, at ports of entry, at our border, and in the interior of the United States is one of the most effective means we have of reducing the threat from terrorists."

Rep. Royce Reacts to Reid’s Amnesty Plan - September 15, 2010 - "Amnesty legislation, like the DREAM Act, will only compound the problem, draw more illegal immigrants to this country, and encourage those breaking our laws to continue to disrespect them. We need to focus on enforcing our current immigration laws."

Royce Opposes White House Administrative Amnesty - September 12, 2011 - "Mr. President, our request is simple: enforce our immigration laws evenly without passion, prejudice or preference."
