Whether you like it or not ... it’s there, it’s in the article and it’s clearly apparent from news reports that planes diverted from Israel before the FAA even uttered one word. You’re beating a dead horse over this one, because thar’s what happened, as I was actually reading about the planes diverting before the FAA came out with anything.

Not possible. Delta was in flight at 12:15 EDT. United's flights leave in the afternoon and evening. US Airways leaves in the evening. So only Delta could have been "diverting" as you claim.
A personal friend of mine was a part of the risk assessment team on this issue, and directly involved with evacuating the Delta crews that were in Tel Aviv. You are the one beating a dead horse. Good news is, many of us here know full well what kind of propaganda you are pushing.
