Air Canada is from a country that is probably the strongest supporter of Israel in the world, and they cited safety reasons.
And then, the initial news reports cited airlines who suspended flights on their own having nothing to do with the FAA, because they did it before the FAA acted.
And then you have the Germans and the Poles citing their safety concerns and they don’t even come under the authority of the FAA.
When that rocket hit near the airport, you can bet that all the airlines - themselves - sat straight up and immediately acted out of safety concerns — as any passenger of theirs would expect them to do.
