He also needed to be of a lineage that was qualified to repurchase Adam’s original debt to God.

To your mind, what was it about Christ's human ancestry that qualified him in this way?

Well, he needed to be a close descendant of Adam, in the male line, in order to qualify to be a kinsman redeemer and repurchase the debt that Adam incurred:

“47 If a stranger or sojourner with you becomes rich, and your brother beside him becomes poor and sells himself to the stranger or sojourner with you or to a member of the stranger’s clan, 48 then after he is sold he may be redeemed. One of his brothers may redeem him, 49 or his uncle or his cousin may redeem him, or a close relative from his clan may redeem him. Or if he grows rich he may redeem himself.” Lev. 25:47-49

Of course, we could never “grow rich” and redeem ourselves from the bondage we were under, so we could only be freed by a redeemer.
