Isn't your strategy what got us Obama? Do you think by staying home you're really sending a message to the GOPe

I voted for McCain and Romney. I hated myself for both votes. I'm not going to do that myself again. The people who "stayed home" were middle class voters that were not convinced that either McCain or Romney were worth voting for. The fault for that lies at the feet of both candidates.

I'm still undecided on Scott. And I don't "stay home" on election day. There are lots of other candidates outside of the Uniparty to vote for. If you don't like that, I'll be happy to find some rope for you to get started with.

No republican ever won without Libertarian votes. Jackwagons like you chase off Libertarians. Then whine when we vote for our parties candidate.

I've been trying to tell these knuckle heads that forever. Instead of trying to make inroads by sticking to limited government ideals, they just reflexively insult Libertarians. Then complain that Libertarians didn't help their guy get elected.

They can't see that there are plenty of people like me who agree with the LP almost as often as we agree with the GOP. The difference being that the LP has yet to stab me in the back like the GOP has done so many times in the past.

BTW, I’ll bet in 2006 you were telling people how important is was to vote for Charlie Crist because Jim Davis might get elected.

I think your emotional response is understandable, but not well advised.

William Buckley, I think, made a reasonable case for voting for the “most conservative of the electable candidate”, or something like that.

I look at these guys, usually, on a straight line, and put them on “points” on that line.

During a primary, I vote for the person I consider furthest right from the center of the line.

I do the same in a general election.

I know this makes us susceptible to not voting for the perfect candidate.

I do that too, but I do not limit myself to only the candidates labeled "R" or "D".

Charlie Christ is despised by BOTH Rebpublicans and Democrats ...

as a genuine slimeball politican whore ...

He truly is. The fact cannot be emphasized strongly enough. Everybody in the state knows that this guy is nothing but an unprincipled political chameleon who will pander to ANY constituency, as long as it helps his election chances.

I can't believe Florida voters would elect this transparent charlatan to any office in the State, including dog-catcher.

To think that he could once again be our governor makes my skin crawl...

It certainly worked to get Charlie Crist elected in 2006.
