Representative Luis Gutierrez addressed the National Council of La Raza in hyper tones, calling not only for more amnesties but also for the crowd to “punish” their adversaries who would oppose them. Apparently, Eric Holder’s prior separatist reference to “my people” when talking of African Americans, and President Obama’s earlier 2010 racialist call for Latinos “to punish our enemies” have filtered down as mainstream nomenclature and emboldened others. But how strange that “raza,” “my people,” and “our people” are now politically correct words in a linguistically sensitive age when referents like the Washington “Redskins” or “illegal” immigrants are considered racially insensitive.

When a people become too “civilized” to do what’s necessary to survive in an uncivilized world, as white America seems to have done, then they won’t survive.
Luis Gutierrez is another leftist radical who poses as “a progressive Democrat” in order to be nominated and elected. Openly admitting that one is a Marxist does not sell. His sole interest in promoting an amnesty for illegal immigrants is driven by his desire to develop a large underclass of welfare recipients who will vote to keep Democrats in power forever.
Gutierrez is hostile towards the United States and fancies himself as the leader of the Puerto Ricans. The rub is that for all of the talk about forming a separate nation or pursuing statehood, Puerto Rico is unwilling to give up all of the subsidies that it derives from being an American commonwealth territory. Even Gutierrez’s own family had to leave the island for Chicago in order to make a better life.
Luis Gutierrez is a hypocrite who attacks capitalism while profiting from real estate developments in Chicago.
Years ago, “America’s Most Wanted” ran a segment of FALN terrorists (Puerto Rican Nationalists). During the broadcast some archival file footage was used and, lo and behold, there was a youthful and angry Luis Gutierrez with a full head of hair and a mustache carrying the hammer and sickle red flag of the former Soviet Union.
Reminds me of this funny scene from, “Tropic Thunder.”
