I *love* how those two Marines just keep giving the guy enough rope to hang himself, needling him just enough to keep talking.
“I’m an MP also” LOLOLOLOL!!!
What a doofus.

The one at the bottom looks more like a parody than an impersonation, as if he were a Major-General from the Weimar Republic or something.
The guy at the top just looks like a really sad human being.

Words cannot describe that first idiot. I do recall that moron and can’t help what think he believes the ones that earned those stripes or medals went through to get them.

Did one of the “confronters” say that he was “pretty sure that was a Philippines combat ribbon”, and the imposter tried to defend it?
To: Nachum
And the doofus SC has ruled that this is free speech, striking down the stolen valor act. They also ruled that you are not required to tell the truth.
Waitibg for that to be used in a trial defense.

I watched part of this, and credits to the Marines who asked this imposter the questions (the Marines showed restraint and persistence at the same time.)
For starters, the U.S. insignia for US Army enlisted is coin-shaped, not cut-out (cut out is for officers, just like the USAF)
Many, many other giveaways.
Stealing valor should still be a crime.

The Marines showed incredible restraint in dealing with this fraud. I am glad that they noted his license plate number.

Cons do this all the time.
They play military dress up, head to places like airports politely bumming money off the unsuspecting, telling um they lost their wallet, woke up broke, missed their flight back to base and on and on. They can make 400 bucks a day if they have the right schtick.
This guy was probably shaking down veteran funerals posted in the paper for directions to the after funeral meal, the life celebration party whatever, looking for an easy target for whatever his MO is...
