WORLEY, Idaho — A Native American tribe has canceled an Aug. 4 concert by Ted Nugent at its casino.
The Coeur d'Alene Tribe on Monday said that the cancellation of the concert at the casino in the northwest Idaho city of Worley was because of the rocker's "racist and hate-filled remarks."

I was planning on having Harry Reid, Chuck Schumer, and Elizabeth Warren over to my house for dinner, but have cancelled because of their hate filled and racist remarks.
They must be rich if they can forgo the revenues his concert delivers....

Perhaps there were complaints and maybe threats and the organization succumbed to those protests.
I'm a Nugent fan. In fact I talked to him on the phone once. Actually I was working at a radio station at the time and I was setting him up to be interviewed.
The lyrics sound a little on the romantic side. I don't doubt that Indians used to use buffalo for food, clothing, shelter and whatnot but they used to drive herds over cliffs by the hundreds, maybe thousands as opposed to killing them one-by-one as necessary.
So, if the buffalo has disappeared from the field, the Indians had as much to do with that as the white man.
hope they didn’t breach the contract and become indian givers.
