The rebels have taken the OSCE to the crash site.

Remember, this is in the middle of a combat area, in the middle of a civil war. The rebels have every reason to believe that Kiev would use that access for a military advantage. This crashed in the middle of a disputed zone, that cuts off access to several thousand surrounded Ukrainian troops.

The Rebels have offered full access in return for a cease-fire, something Kiev will not agree to.

And why should they??? Putin funded terrorists shoot down a plane load of innocents and they want to leverage that into a ceasefire???

Then when they don't get their ceasefire they loot the bodies of the innocents and hold them hostage refusing to let them be buried???

Based on all the various videos and reports I've been tracking down it's pretty clear that Ukraine's Emergency services were first emergency crews on the scene....as should be....also local people were there attempting to find survivors after it hit in their area. ....Also the Anti-Kiev fighters were on the scene, since it was an active war zone.

As well Sky news reporters...who actually were filming and ‘rooting through suitcases and personal items’ themselves.

The area was pretty much trashed just in the crash impact itself.....with items scattered all over.

It's understandable why the Anti_KIev fighters were on site....if it had happened further south you can bet Ukraine/Kiev would have been there as well...or in Russia the Russians would have been there. MAking issue of the Anti_Kiev fighters being there is simply a waste of time.

The videos I've seen of the fighters shows they were co-operative.....the delay was because OSCE'S first visit was to corridor the area off and take a visual only. They left the site in order to set things up ......people forget that not only was this in the country area, and not easily accessible, but there was still fighting going on. It took time for the word to get out and firing to stop.

Further there was time needed for International Groups to get there and set up.
