Perhaps Bill can explain to all of us why a ‘guest worker’ who barely speaks English is better for America than a highly trained and trainable American who is already working for him?

It is because those “guest workers” come with PHDs and can be paid much less. These are not “gardener-type” workers.

"...is better for America..." There in lies the rub. "Better for America" has nothing to do with corporate business decisions these days. The overriding question is what is good for shareholders. Economic patriotism is so 1950ish.
