I disagree. This message is best spread by Netanyahu's ministers...not by the Prime Minister himself.
Netanyahu has fought for years to be a "player" among world leaders. When he diminishes the deaths of toddlers because Palestinian mothers and fathers want them dead for a photo op....well, Bibi diminishes Israel AND his rank among leaders.
It's not the Prime Minister's place to judge the depth of loss and feelings of Palestinian parents, grandparents and family. Bibi should simply acknowledge this loss as a universal loss.
Such an acknowledgement from Netanyahu would give deeper credence to his reasons for the goals of this war without crowding the issue with "proof" of the legitimacy of the death of children.
Shalom.
He didn't say any such thing. He specifically said he was talking about Hamas terrorists. And it's true. Israel has been warning civilians near launch sites to leave the area, going so far as to call them ahead of time, and shoot inert rockets on rooftops as warning. Hamas responded by issuing a "warning" to Palestinian civilians that these were just Zionist tricks to get them to leave their homes, and anyone leaving their homes would be severely dealt with--by Hamas. It's totally appropriate for Bibi to tell the world what these people are. As for other ministers, nobody outside of Israel with hear anything they say. If Bibi says it, maybe it will make the foreign media.
