Not all the Vichy meant to be Vichy. Many just kind of stumbled into it and morally excused (gotta survive at all costs) their acquiescence with Nazis and thus were...Vichy.

No I agree not all Vichy intended to be collaborators...people loose who they are when they accommodate to the surrounding without realizing it when you start compromising

It may be a good model for the physical animal but it's not a good model for being a principled thinking man seeking to find truth for living...

That why I cringe when some one brags their thinking has evolved...it's the antithesis of acquiring wisdom
