I had to give my fingerprints in order to work as a substitute teacher. How can the demand fingerprints of everyone for a driver’s license? Did the Texas Legislature approve this? Isn’t this against the 4th Amendment?

My wife had to give fingerprints to volunteer at our local school. Three times the police took her prints, and three times the central processing unit couldn't successfully digitize them. At the end of the year, she was sent a notice that she couldn't return the following year because she had failed to provide her finger prints.
