By the way, if no one has told you, LBJ is dead, smart guy. So you did live long enough to piss on his grave, like you stated. Since he tried to stop the communists, I’m sure we can all understand why you’re angry with him too.

I’m not a fan of LBJ’s. I don’t know where you get that. You wrote, “Necrophiliacs are so touchy.” Are you speaking for yourself or just making a vile insult in some weird way?

It’s like a rapist blaming the victim. If she hadn’t fought back he wouldn’t have had to break her teeth.

Applying to you the same logic you apply to others proves you're a huge LBJ fan in spite anything you say by exactly the same standard you say proves someone loves Putin or Stalin when they've never said any such thing or even praised them. Calling Putin realist, for example, is stating a fact clearly in evidence, not praising him.

Again using your own logic applied to you, we can conclude you're in love with LBJ who is, in fact, dead. What's the name for the sort of person who is in love with a corpse?

Your approach skewers you. Either you know you're slandering people with untrue adhominims and are doing so deliberately or your logic is the logic that should be applied to your own comments the same way you apply it to others.

~I remember the Ukrainian military actually shot down a Russian commercial airliner by accident during a missile system test. I think it was in 2003.~

I saw your previous insulting post that the moderator took down. Now, you pose as the voice of reason. I guess you’re now the expert on that too and defending Putin.

Not trying to defend Putin and the Yahoos who shot down the plane, but Ukraine may not be totally blameless here.

The plane was taking an unusual northerly route which would have put it over the war zone.

Is it possible that Ukrainian ATC diverted the plane into an area of rebel SAM activity. The motivation being that the rebels would screw up, shot it down and and cause an international incident?

Pretty cold blooded, but I wouldn’t put it past the parties here.

Well Putin is not denying that a SAM brought it down, so those black boxes must still be holding up well under interrogation.

I’m sure they are now being sent to Siberia for reprogramming though.

If it had been shot down over Moscow, it would still be Ukraine’s fault.

You’re a shameless Putin apologists. Did you support him when he was with the KGB and did you then support the Gulag? Why do you post on an American Conservative website if you favor an autocrat?

No, no and no. I post her cuz I feelz like it.

Do you know how irrational your response sounds ?

a) I'm positing that Western-aligned forces took down the plane.

b) I'm positing that Russian-aligned forces did not take down the plane.

c) I did not say that I "support Putin".

I'm never going to view any type of terrorist or other "man-made disaster" as anything other than some variant of a false flag event. I think many Americans feel the same way, or there would not be such a vociferous contingent of war-drum beaters here on FR trying to rouse up conservatives to believe that we're at Defcon-3 or something with Russia. You know that it really sounds very silly; I think most middle-school kids would even say that the wild accusations are a bit overdramatic.

Domestic NTSB investigations take months or longer to get definitive results back.

International crash investigations are notoriously questionable and lengthy.

The last bogus event was also with Malaysian Airlines, and I never heard they found so much as a rivet of that plane yet, and I never heard any definitive investigation results. I never even heard a straight answer about the radar, satellite, radio, etc., monitoring, to know what actually happened on that flight.

With this take-down - after little more than 1 day - we're supposed to jump up and salute the idea that a few concerned citizens have 100% perfect proof that Putin ordered a military strike on a civilian passenger jet.

“I would like to point out in this regard, that this tragedy would not have occurred if there was peace in that land, at least, if hostilities had not resumed in the South-East of Ukraine,” Putin said. “And without question, the state over whose territory this took place, bears responsibility for this awful tragedy.”

Have to say that sounds so much more commie like than: "Those big meanies made me shoot that plane down."

I don't "pose" as anything.

I told you exactly what I think of someone who by using your own logic is obviously in love with LBJ and what that makes them. Doing so went well beyond the bounds of acceptable posts here and I apologize to the Moderater, Jim, and all those who read it and who were not named as intended receipents. It was the truth about LBJ and clearly stated what I think of anyone who has a good word to say about him none the less.

Especially someone who is so completely ignorant they spout garbage about him "fighting communism" when he did no such thing. He fostered and fattened Communism here in the US more than anyone before him and paved the way for all the socialist progress his scum sucking party has made since him. That was his "anti-communist" goal, the permanent entrenchment in power of the democrat fascists who have been using socialism as the means to their godless ends ever since the 1890s. PERIOD.

The only one "posing" is the one who pretends to be a mind reader and accuses people things they've never said to entertain their little friends. People who can't stand to have anyone disagree with them or who instantly classify others are just useful idiots for whoever can manipulate their underdeveloped brains. If that's how someone wants to live instead of thinking for their self, so be it.

Thinking for yourself means you go down a lot of dead ends and you revise and adjust your opinions as the information available changes. If a particular unpopular ruthless bastard is in reality the least culpable of those a party to some situation that doesn't mean any more or less than he's the least culpable ruthless bastard. That's the way the uncomfortable truth cookie in this world crumbles. When it comes to international fun and games everyone involved usually has plenty of blood on their hands so they're all cut from the same cloth. The only question is who is pushing and who is just trying to hold the line. The ones pushing are always telling the biggest lies and getting the most new blood on their hands.

Thinking for yourself also means you'll often be unpopular among the sort of drooling sheep who have given up on thinking altogether anyway. I have no problem with that. If someone tells me they think I'm dead wrong and does so like an adult instead of like a snarky punk and moves on I give some thought to thier points. Maybe I'll even see their point and start looking for things that support it to see how that alters the situation and the probabilities. I'll definitely add their view to the new information coming in pile. Whenever someone starts with snark and BS what they havce to say goes right down the toilet without much if any consideration other than to point out how lame and devoid of truth their comments are.

People who can't stand for others to disagree with them play the game of being snarky and attacking with lies those who do speak up in disagreement to keep discussion from taking place, not to add to the discussion or convince anyone of anything. Just to reduce the number of people who speak up and add their thoughts to the discussion. Someone responding in kind to them is all such folks should expect, especially when they're a babbling wad of ASSumptions that have no basis in fact.

Have a nice day.

See, now you’re thinkin’; it doesn’t take much at all to just influence events “your way” a “little bit” if you have a lot of money and power.

The investigation necessary is practically impossible.

Operatives can operate with impunity and complete stealth in that part of the world.

What we hear on the news is just mind control, and they don’t bother even being subtle any more.

Just think: back when we were fed the “evidence” of Iraq “having weapons” which necessitated our decade occupation of the place and removal of the old CIA employee Hussein, at least they took many months of prepping, formulating and slowly putting out the “evidence” and “messaging” to the sheeple.

Nowadays, plane blows up, wham - Putin did it, bam, case closed.

We don’t need no stinkin’ investigation.

A lot of us sheeple are thinking. Lots. That’s why the globalists are pushing so hard on all their agendas.

The fingers are pointing more and more at the elite financiers of the world.

You’re a hoot. You combine the mind of Rasputin with the duped logic of a Putinista (all the people of the former Soviet Union, according to you are Russians) and then want to lecture on LBJ. You’re risible Rashputin the Putinista propagandist.

"Those big meanies made me shoot that plane down."

Putin was referring to the fact that Ukraine would not agree to a ceasefire in the east despite a concerted effort by the Europeans and Russia over the past month to secure one. It was Ukraine's decision to restart offensive military actions in the east that led to this tragedy, just as it was Ukraine's decision to allow that plane to fly over the conflict zone.

With all due respect, I think it was much easier to control public opinion in the past (pre-1980), when the NYT was the newspaper of record and everyone watched the Big Three networks.

Things are a lot more messy now with the Internet and cable TV.
