Dallas County Judge Clay Jenkins said he wants thousands of undocumented children from the border to be in Dallas by the end of July, adding that one of three proposed housing sites is a Parkland Hospital warehouse that needs to be fixed.
However, according to at least one county commissioner, several steps must be taken before renovations can begin on taxpayer-funded county buildings.
“There's been no declaration of an emergency at the federal level, state level, or the county level, so therefore if he's trying to operate within some type of Homeland Security emergency declaration, that hasn't occurred, so that authority doesn't exist, and maybe he knows some authority that we’re not aware of,” said Commissioner Mike Cantrell. “All I’m asking him to do is tell us what it is. Under what authority is he acting?”

This Judge has NO authority to decide or demand anything concerning the people flooding across the border.

If the judge goes through with this, he just signed his pink slip with the county.
I believe Judge Jenkins is operating under the authority of his one remaining brain cell.
Mike Cantrell is the only republican left in the Dallas County leadership. Glad to see someone stepping up to challenge Clay Jenkins who seems to think you can make it up as you go along. Like the tyrant Obama.

Perhaps they could compromise. The judge can always adopt all those criminal invaders then personally reimburse the state, county, local communities for all the public resourses they will use over their lifetime.

The citizens of this county should be informed this judge is attempting to flood the county with illegals that will force state and local government to cut their benefits to pay for the new arrivals.

I was wondering where the heck he got the authority too. Judges just can’t declare what they are going to do. Maybe the Mayor could, I’m not sure. Where does he get the authority to make this massive decision for Dallas? I think I will call his office tomorrow and ask.
