Pope Francis says migrants around the world are subjected to “racist and xenophobic attitudes” and he wants the tens of thousands of Central American children crossing the border into the United States to be “welcomed and protected.”

That is my opinion exactly. The pope.wants to condemn us instead of the cesspools where they come from. He should be telling those governments and parents to protect and love their children instead of exposing them to death trains, human traffickers, rapists, killers an drugs. Is the pope on drugs? Aren’t these supposedly catholic countries? Jeez, get a brain cell.
In that case, send ‘em all to the Vatican.

IIRC, these source nations are predominantly Catholic … Instead of American Bishops exhorting their flocks to take care of these children [sic] after they’re here in the name of “charity”, perhaps the Pope should exert more leverage on the local hierarchy in these countries (or their leaders, since he’s a Head of State) to bring the focus where it belongs.
Would he say that if they were coming from predominantly Protestant countries? I’m sure his unholiness isn’t upset that the U.S. has had millions of Catholics breaching the border for decades.
The Pope is welcome to donate some of the churches wealth to help support these children.
But that isn’t going to happen, is it?
Give them airfare to go live at the Vatican.

Delouse them. Treat their diseases. Clothe them, and feed them, and send them to the Vatican, so the Pope can welcome them. Take him up on his offer.

The Catholic church gets millions of dollars for grants for "charity work".
The Gov't helps to prop the church up. They see their taxpayer funds potentially starting to slip away as the US will potentially get a GOP Senate.
I truly understand.
IF some government ordered that ALL Church properties be handed over to the government so that they could be used to house refugees, the Pope would be upset.
Yet this is EXACTLY what he is suggesting on the US Border.
This Pope is very generous with the properties and money of other people. He is, in many ways, a typical liberal.
I give the Pope credit for living a humble lifestyle but that does not excuse his promotion of Socialism.
