What I'm saying is that someone coming here to earn a few bucks picking peaches is not a serious threat to the country.
Not when compared to others who should not be here at all, under any circumstances.
People who would be turned back or arrested if they arrived by air, can just walk in. That is not good.
Yes, Central and South America are a political and economic mess.
Maybe US could help but how exactly?
Under the current US administration they are definitely better off without our help.

Because it isn’t important; I live within sight of the World Trade Center, and I know those guys didn’t need to sneak across a border. I also live in a town filled with illegals that didn’t sneak across the border; they come here on work and student visas, and simply overstay them.

Is that an acceptable justification for my failure to comment on what I viewed as a moot point, sir?
