Using school buses? Isn’t that mis use of state funds?
Bingo. North Carolina has a (really stupid) law that forbids use of school buses for anything other than transporting students to/from school.
As a result, there are there stupid white "Activity Buses" all over creation that serve merely to increase costs and increase fleets by 20-25% so that bands and sports teams and field trips can go where they need to go.
HOWEVER, in this specific case, it means somebody broke the law: somebody needs to be arrested - specifically if there were yellow buses involved.
