One would think but actually the opposite is the case.
I see town after town where one has a presence and they’ve bought or built the other label to capitalize on each ones followers
The biggest problem is that they’ve ALL seen the cash cow of tourism and become travel centers instead of truck stops
Fortunately for me I’m 4th qtr in my career and only work 4 days a week so I don’t have to live out there anymore

Thankfully, it’s all behind me now but I do miss coming across some of the older truck stops in out of the way places but they seem to be a dying breed as the majors tie-up the fleets with discounts the older stops can’t provide.
