You did better than us. The red/purple cells blowing thru here dumped so much, so fast, it barely soaked-in 2-3”, and the rest caused streets, roads, rivers and creeks to flood.

The cool front is moving into the area now, and temps have dropped almost 15 degrees, and still falling. Mags area is down in the 40s.

Tomorrow and Thursday will be fall-like; amazing for mid-July.

Just after 10:30pm, a huge column of red cells slammed into this area, and dumped another 2-4” of rain, with 50-60mph winds. As it passed, we got steady rain for another 1-2hrs. Temps have dropped from 92 down to 65. Now, clear skies and a couple nice days ahead. Grab a light jacket. Glo-bull warming! Woo-Hoo!
