I still have not seen Avatar. I turned my back on Hollywood long ago. Divorcing myself from advocacy cinema has positive effects on my lifestyle. There are way too many other things one can enjoy.
Roger that. (I still like “Animal House”.)
Same here. Although I did try to watch it on tv but couldn't get past the first few minutes. Last time I bought a movie ticket (matinee, of course) was to the last Harry Potter. The time before that was the previous HP. Time before that, the prior HP. I have no desire whatsoever to see a ridiculous Planet of the Apes.
Meanwhile, the legions of dim-witted Generation.commers who will flock to see this drivel will absorb the anti-gun mantra. Those same mind-numbed Leftists will start getting elected to office in another 10 years or so. Once they're there, you think your RKBA will be safe? No...because guns start wars, guns are inherently evil, guns cast magical spells on otherwise good people and turn them into murdering demons, etc. That's what they've been taught by movies.
Still think you're actually doing something because you personally don't support Hollyweird? By ignoring the problem, you're not making it go away, you're just ignoring it.
Yet again, this is a glaring example of why we need to create and support conservative/patriotic pop culture! We can boycott anything ever filmed, but the low-information community isn't...they're been fed low-information propaganda by Hollyweird, the music industry, professional sports, daytime TV, video games, etc. Merely not feeding the beast isn't enough. We need our own, bigger, meaner, stronger beast.
Or we can continue to feel morally superior, doing the Superior Dance with the Church Lady, while our Republic is undermined and destroyed by Leftist pop culture.
