If all these remarks quoted are real, and adults made them, it seems there WERE some people around the kid that are now kicking themselves in the ass for being negligent.

It ain't easy being a parent and it aint easy being an observant adult that sees trouble and WANTS to say something .. but ...


Yesterday my son dropped by with my 2 yr old grandson and in the course of conversation and watching Blake play, I remarked about something to my son regarding (what I consider) a failure on my part with him and that I saw the same attitude with him and my grandson.

I didn't want to say it because I knew it might alienate me from my son, but I ALSO knew ... i HAD to say it.

I don't think I alienated my son, but he didn't like what I said ... and I'm glad I said it.

Sometimes it's better all around to "bite your tongue" and let it go. Sometimes though, (from personal experience) one just can't shut up.
