MS law forbids that.

Yes, I know. The problem is that, at least at this point, it doesn’t sound like they have found enough of the inelgible votes to force a new runoff. To me that is a bit troubling. It would be nice if they didn’t need to count on any other category of problem ballots since they are likely to be contested.
