Easy Mike! The urban poor follow what they perceive to be their own economic well being. They won't register as Republicans.

Busing from one precinct to another in those ubiquitous inner city church vans, they do their part for the Democrats and are well paid for any effort. It will be many moons before they develop independent thought, if ever. As cyber-fraud is perfected, even showing up isn't really all that necessary.

Why should they change, though? As the Latino illegal migration displaces them, the only hope they see is through increased life-style support from the government they are trained to elect. Until the country utterly crashes and there are no more bananas in the banana republic, the government can count on their votes. After the collapse, there won't be any voting.
