The hope of them “kill(ing) each other and balanc(ing) out the region” is a false hope notwithstanding. We have a POTUS that helps all factions, to boot, as well as actively helping the invasion at our southern border.
They won’t take their focus off the Great Satan, and they are currently focused on the Little Satan, in spite of the relatively little spats in Iraq and Syria.
They are mopping up each other right now. So yeah, they are killing each other. We often play both sides, a la Reagan.
