I’m going to be kind and say that Glenn Beck is a misguided loon. Church charity is for the poor and suffering of our country and also for times of emergencies like hurricanes etc. Not to take care of a bunch of illegals who have swarmed in here and urged on by our POS President.
My experience with people who have more money than they will ever be able to spend in many lifetimes, have a much difficult time handling the influence of their wealth. The power can corrupt a person’s motives. The guilt of being wealthy makes them appear they must do something so we should too. It’s so wrong to me when anyone preaches it’s a sin that you cannot decide on your own, to help a person or not. Giving is a natural expression of love and brotherhood. Just leave that alone but liberals cannot allow personal freedom for an individual or even a business.
Romney was just too much of a radical leftist for republicans, after he won the nomination he even reverted back to his lifelong pro-abortion stance and reissued his support for gay Scout leaders and ran pro-choice ads in at least three states.
The guy is a nut.
You assumed wrongly - government IS the swamp, see The Great Swamp of Socialism”, Jefferson era views of DC as a “Miasmic Swamp”. Best of all, the Founders put the Department of State in the foggy bottom lands, hence the “Foggy Bottom” term.
A case can be made that Bud is universal, and Anhauser Brewing is hard at work on that project.
As for Church participation in the “Bambino Latrino Invasion”, Fedzilla has funded that to the tune of nearly 100 megabucks starting back in 2010, IIRC.
As the National Council of Churches was communist, so to are many of the local church leaders, a fact they conceal from their parishioners. That the Baptists accepted some 62 megabucks, and the Catholics a measly 15 megabucks tells me that church complicity in the abiding treason of the Bambino Latrino Invasion” is both of considerable duration and was bought with taxpayer dollars.
Hang the participating clergy, and make the congregations pay back the money.
SAVE AMERICA - FLUSH THE LATRINOS
Love it!
And that goes for any one of the 43 wives this sexual predator Joseph Smith had.
Deny it if you like but Romney would have won despite his many faults if he had not been a Mormon....That’s what I think, and since you don’t have any more actual proof of your opinion than I do of mine, I see no reason to change my mind.
I will accept an independent counsel.
How bout black single mothers?
No, it was a strong NO arrived at precisely by the use of reason.
Are you promoting taking in every illegal alien that manages to come to America?
Are you an Open Borders supporter?

Are you in the habit of constructing straw men?
Good. Explain the reason.
Whether or not they are technically funding it, the circumstances and manner in which they are doing it is tending to egg it on. If this were some kind of counter-charity that offered to help kids who stayed right where they were in El Salvador, Honduras, Guatemala, etc. it would be wiser. IMHO.
Glenn Beck is being an oddball, I will not be shy about saying it.
It falls more in the category of “attractive nuisance.” With all the Calvinball going on by the administration, we don’t even have a good view into whether Beck et al. are doing the legally verboten, and let’s say we make the charitable assumption they aren’t. They’re still setting up a situation that eggs it on, like walking around a slum with pockets visibly stuffed with cash and no personal protection. It’s, at best, carried out in a foolish manner.
He is insane.
..or, are you in the habit getting things wrong?
Huh? Every single one of these cretins crossed our border illegally. Therefore they ALL are criminals.
To claim asylum lawfully, they should go to the border station and do it the proper way.
Every single one of these illegal border crossers should be sent home ASAP.
They are not here seeking asylum, there are here for Freebies and to change America into a third world sewer.
There is nothing wrong with being generous, but generosity should be exercised in a wise way, to encourage a change in conduct and circumstance that is to the good rather than the ill. In some cases there is debatable moral calculus involved and there’s room for disagreement in judgment calls, but here the right thing would be rather clear — help the kids (and parents) do better, RIGHT AT HOME.
This is where the Mormon faith can become an issue. Ministry in the name of some generic Christianity can be agreed to among many different denominations, but according to most Mormons, to do Mormonism you have to do it in a Mormon church... and there just aren’t very many, if any, in Latin America. Maybe Beck sincerely thinks that, due to the Mormonism factor, he is doing the right thing.
Agree, sends a message of enticement to these countries and can be exploited by left, after his appearance on national TV ...they are handing out soccer balls and teddy bears..they want us to come they will take care of us.
It’s pushing the sense of asylum past the breaking point. But when did this ever become something Democrats cared about?
The present situation is that they are children who need help. Obama is responsible for this situation and will do NADA to change it, so help them (most do not officially qualify to remain here), send those who do not qualify home, and pressure our government like crazy to CLOSE the border. We also need to work our butts off to elect better people and back them up with DAILY prayer. These are Christian values...upon which our great Nation was founded. Unfortunately...our culture has aborted many of those Christian values...along with our own children.
“That the most acceptable service we render to him is in doing good to his other children. That the soul of man is immortal, and will be treated with justice in another life respecting its conduct in this. These I take to be the fundamental points in all sound religion, and I regard them as you do in whatever sect I meet with them.” ...Benjamin Franklin
“It cannot be emphasized too strongly or too often that this great nation was founded, not by religionists, but by Christians; not on religions, but on the gospel of Jesus Christ. For this very reason peoples of other faiths have been afforded asylum, prosperity, and freedom of worship here.” ...Patrick Henry
Help them... to do just what, is the rub.
