Glenn Beck has set up Mercury One Children and Family Border Relief Fund to help illegals coming into the United States. Hes already raised $600,000. Beck stated that Obama would not have to step in and ask for $3.7 billion if private charities would pick up the slack and give to the swarm of illegals crossing the border.
Is he kidding? Do we really need more churches and non-profits enabling this blatant attack on America?
Rich people and liberal elite billionaires have no skin in the game when it comes to the consequences of illegal immigration so what do they care?
Its the working class and middle class who will take the hit. Its not bad enough that Team Obama is giving illegals free rein when it comes to social services, we have to witness do-gooders on our side making public displays of their Christ-like behavior towards people who are breaking the law while telling us to walk in love.
..Compassion for the down-and-out is fine, but invading a nation by the tens of thousands is an act of war.
...What really bites about all of this is the implication that those of us standing against this monstrous disregard for the law are not following Christs teachings. Is funding Obamas plan to destroy this country in the New Testament

May I ask why you think the government's charity is a factor, but not Beck's?
Saying I’m against illegal imagination BUT blah blah blah cry cry cry I’ll give you stuff one day you might go home.
Good lord how do people fall for his dribble.
Well, that's very sweet. He told them that America IS the land of milk and honey (reinforcing the calls they're getting from invading relatives). And I'm glad he let them know he doesn't want to lecture or scold them. /S
Are you kidding me? They voluntarily abandoned their kids to get a foot in the door here illegally.
With that in mind, I can't imagine why Beck thinks they would care about the conditions they're dealing with.
“Iwant these kids sent back. I DEMAND that these kids be sent back.” — Glenn Beck, to Megyn Kelly, on tonight’s “Kelly File”.
AND — “We are citizens of the Kingdom of God and He has commanded us to take care of each other.”
“I want them to go back home saying, ‘Those people in America were really nice to me. When I get older, maybe I’ll try and go back there the right way.’”
Remember: “What you do to the least of these, you do to me.”
We are citizens of the Kingdom of God and He has commanded us to take care of each other.
He went on a bit in that vein, but not once did he mention Scripture's instruction to obey the laws of the government.
I want them to go back home saying, Those people in America were really nice to me. When I get older, maybe Ill try and go back there the right way.
Great! That's just what we need, right? Our own countrymen need jobs, but let's make more people want to flood in here and take them.
I note that Beck lied about something last night. Kelly asked him about the perception that he was denigrating those who don't agree with him on this issue. He was quick to say, "No, no, not at all, I haven't done that and it's never been my intention." Yet Breitbart, in reporting Beck's reaction to those of us who want nothing to do with his stunt, quoted him as saying "conservatives only want to sit in judgment."
"Remember: What you do to the least of these, you do to me.
Then why doesn't Beck turn those millions over to the least of these in THIS country? Veterans who can't get basic health care, for example? Why is he so fixated on the invaders at the border?
I think I have an idea why. I listened to him a bit this morning. He emphasized not "hating" people because they're different. I think something in him wants to prove to the world that he's not a racist.
Before I turned off the radio, he announced that we must "see these individuals crossing the border as people first." Then he segued into a story about an illegal alien sexually abusing a nine year old girl.
I'm sincere when I say I believe Beck is mentally ill.
Beck is mentally unstable.
Yup
so that’s what your argument comes down to.
Yes, and I worry about you as well.
Your interpretation of what Beck does and says is not what he does and says.
His statements and writings are disjointed, and contradict actions.
His speeches many times are incoherent and delusional.
Yes, I say Beck is mentally unstable,
Should have pinged you to 329
Well, if Beck is unstable, he’s unstable. It’s just a sad fact.
This is what I don’t understand. Lots of conservatives have their favorite talk show hosts. Some like Mark Levin, some prefer Rush, etc. I don’t listen to any of them regularly but Mark is my preference. I do enjoy Rush, though.
The thing is, you don’t see Limbaugh/Levin/etc. listeners becoming so wrapped up in them, so defensive. You won’t hear them trying to get you to “understand” them, and you won’t hear, “He says this...and this...and this...and this...” as if the talk host is a life guru.
But many of Beck’s fans are just wrapped up in him. They take disagreement with Glenn pretty personally.
Why?
Really good question and catch!!
Your interpretation of what Beck does and says is not what he does and says. Mine is based on hearing him and watching him. Yours is based on some misinterpretation of what he is saying, which you insist upon for reasons I can’t gathom.
OK., that actustly is funny.
You send me links you want me to view and or read - I do.
I tell you Beck is unbalanced because of what I read he said and listed to what he says because you sent me those links(repeating for effect) it is me who dosent understand Beck?
ROFLMAO
Ping 334
Yes, I think you completely misunderstand his position.
Nope, it is you who do. His position is nearly incoherent all over the maps taking three sides to the issue - Beck is unbalanced
TBP, this post perfectly confirms my observations in #331. We have referenced direct quotes from Beck as reported by Breitbart, and I've related what I heard him say with my own ears yesterday.
But somehow, we're not "interpreting" him correctly....maybe because we haven't looked into his eyes or soul or whatever it was you said upthread. /S
You are trying to tell us that our own eyes and ears are lying, and that Breitbart must not be an accurate source. But you are mystically and uniquely capable of understanding him.
You didn't respond to my last post and I don't expect you will respond to this one, but do you seriously not see how cultlike this comes across?
There's something else I've wondered about. Are you related to Beck, or are you perhaps his wife?
Simply incorrect. His position has been consistent — secure the border, send the kids home ASAP, take care of them in the meantime, as well as we can, and primarily through private institutions like churches and charities. Very simple. You’re trying to force a preconceived interpretation onto his remarks.
My response to 339 - ROTFLMAO
TBP your blind devotion to Beck is scary
