Conservative Christians have generally been known for their enthusiastic support for the Jewish state. But a new movement of young activists is seeking to change that.
In 2010, a film was released that perfectly encapsulated the erosion of Evangelical Christian support for Israel. The film, With God on Our Side, featured a young man learning about the Palestinian struggle and coming to see Israel not as evidence of Gods faithfulness, but as a mean and heartless nation enabled by American Evangelicals who have embraced Zionist ideology.
The films narrative of peace-loving Palestinians mistreated by heartless Israelis and their Christian Zionist supporters has been repackaged and promoted again and again by anti-Israel activists in some of the most influential Evangelical institutions in the United States. These activists, often in high positions, have found eager disciples in places like the megachurch campus of Willow Creek and the academic halls of Wheaton College, one of Americas preeminent Evangelical institutions. And they have been able to exploit the resources of popular Evangelical development organizations like World Vision.
Exposing these activists and their strategy is key to thwarting their efforts to undermine Evangelical support for Israel.

Any Evangelicals I know support Israel for what God said. I doubt some film made by mortals will hold much sway with them.
The films narrative of peace-loving Palestinians...
Given the overwhelming evidence, you would think that no one on the planet would buy the peace-loving Muslim meme anymore. But unfortunately, too many weak-minded people think with their hearts vs. their heads.
I have a friend who I believe drank the Kool-Aid. He lives in Dearbornistan and is always posting pro-Palistinean stuff.
So much for “friends”.
So, the “new Christians” will be embracing Islam, Sharia Law, and denying Jesus Christ as the Son of G_D? That’s what I just read
“So, the new Christians will be embracing Islam...”
The “new Christians” don’t realize that’s what they’re doing, but there will come a day...and it will be too late for them. Islam will have them in a death embrace.
You can’t cure stupid.

“”The Jerusalem District Court has ordered Moshav Yad Hashmonah, a community of Messianic Jews and Evangelical Christians, to pay compensation to two lesbians after it refused to host a same-sex wedding reception.””
These are the same “evangelicals” that believe in Homosexual Marriage and income equality. Admittedly it is a growing movement as there is a GREAT APOSTASY approaching (if not already here).
Christ followers support Israel. This is how we know where the real alliances of the Demon rat party, the leadership thereof, and the mainstream media stand.
Please this is an honest question, not intended to be derisive
If one of those vermin wind up pastoring your congregation, make sure they’re riding the next rail out of town. Thanks rhema.
It’s not in the Bible.
And you distinguish them from the Chosen People of the Bible based on what?
Then Romans 10 and 11 aren't in the Bible, either.
But accepting those in charge of Israel are the Chosen People, show me the verse(s) why as an Christian, I morally must support the modern state of Israel above any other modern state.
I am told to have faith in the saving Grace by the Blood of Jesus Christ, Our Lord and Savior and to help my fellow man, both spiritually and physically to share the Good News but why does this convert(no pun intended) into the political support of the modern state of Israel?
As I said previously, maybe it's poor research on my part but I cannot any Bible based reason.
Please help me if you can.
If this point is ambiguous to you, then I submit it is more a question of will than documentation. A close analogy would be those who wish to embrace Christ, but also wish the embrace the prevailing pro-homosexual ethos.
Furthermore, I submit that your subtle change in stating the question "...why as an Christian, I morally must support the modern state of Israel above any other modern state" evinces an attempt to "ramp up" the question from "faith" to "loyalty" so as to conflate embracing the former with erosion of the latter.
Therefore, I seems to my your profession of uninformed neutrality is rather questionable.
As I noted above, one can not read Romans 10 and 11, as well as the prophesies of Ezekiel, Isaiah, and Daniel, and remain neutral on the place of modern Israel anymore than one can read Romans 1 and pose as "open-minded" on the role of homosexuality.
A critical survey of his exposition on the Book of Daniel by Chuck Missler would be a good start.
