According to this article:
Quote:
“Also attending the meeting was Kevin Dinnin, president of Baptist Child & Family Services, a BGCT-related agency providing care for children housed at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio.”
BCFS, is a BGCT-related agency.
BGCT is http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Baptist_General_Convention_of_Texas
Interesting articel on BGCT:

Their website is:

he missions and ministries of Texas Baptists PDF on this page;
You will find in the PDF that Baptist Child & Family Services (BCFS) is a related entity.
You can find the BCFS form 990 for tax year 2011 online in PDF form if you search (I found a copy).
You’ll find that of total annual revenue of $76,441,116 that on page 9, Part VIII, Statement of Revenue, line 1e Government Grants (contributions) was $70,669, 962.
Not giving to BCFS ?
Hardly. All American taxpayers are “giving” to BCFS, because it is 92% funded by the Federal government.
Because the article at the tope of the thread refers to BCFC.
It could just be incompetent reporting.
I'm sorry for confusing everybody, but I'm still confused.
Your post 93 would appear to make it a near certainty that the BCFS that received the $62mill is the same BCFS that is linked from the BGCT Child/Family Care Institutions page.
Even though that link is partially broken it does take you to the BCFS group operating out of San Antonio. I’m wondering if they didn’t attempt to disable the link.
