As a disinterested 3rd state (People’s DemocRATic Republic of Maryland) resident, I can say that things in Texas seem to be just fine. I wish we could say the same about Mississippi.

We're getting a lot flack lately for not protecting the Southern border...after spending $500 MILLION in Texas taxpayer $$$$ the past decade.
