This is Dinesh DSouza.
Not only has the retail giant Costco reversed its decision to lift copies of my book, America off its shelves, but it has called my publisher and ordered 25,000 new copies of my book. Costco now promises that my book will be in all Costcos around the country, prominently displayed.
Now this is a tremendous victory, and I'm so grateful not to Costco but to you, grateful to my friends and my supporters and people around the country, many of them Costco customers, who were outraged at what they perceived as an act of censorship.
People can decide whether they want the book or not, but

Keep up the good work Dinesh! Got the book, I’m going to try to track down the movie playing somewhere around here this weekend. Loved the last movie. Got the DVD.
I will buy it, but no way in HELL will I buy it from Costco.
I bought it. It’s one of those small things you can do to upset the left, and I know it’s going to be a good read. It should outpace Hillary’s book.
...I bought it from Dinesh himself, at a private showing of America he attended last night in San Francisco!
Pretty good victory, while I wouldn’t buy it there (or shop there), hopefully many people who aren’t up to speed on the controversy, will.
Plus prominent store displays, are great advertising for the movie.
I’ve heard that Hillary’s book sales are tanking. But also heard that Costco still has stacks of unsold Hillary books. They are still pushing Hillary.
I also heard Hillary’s book is far behind a book which instructs you how to cleanse your colon using green methods.
“I also heard Hillarys book is far behind a book which instructs you how to cleanse your colon using green methods.”
Is that book titled “Dreams of my Father”?
I was not buying the inventory control story. I was just in Costco a few hours ago.
There are plenty of titles where the author is not frequently in the media nor a movie released in parallel.
OMG we have been freezing since the same year..! Wow..!
Costco is not pushing Hillary’s book. The publisher anticipated huge sales of the book and encouraged large orders and their gamble failed miserably. Can’t blame Costco for that. YOu can bet there will be lots of Hillary’s books going back to the publisher in the next week.
The fact is, Dinesh DSouza’s book just wasn’t moving at Costco. In the previous week, only 700 copies had been sold that the 464+ U.S. locations. That’s only 1.5 copies per location in a week.
With the movie generating interest in the book, Costco is responding to demand by placing more orders. That’s what a business is supposed to do.
freeping, not freezing, sorry. Spellcheck...
Maybe we could use the unsold copies of Hillary’s book to help build the border barrier wall?
Well, if you frequent / FReep events in San Francisco in the summertime, freeping is freezing!
I met him long ago when I was President of our chapter of College Republicans. I’m proud of that meeting...not so proud of meeting John McCain however.
It’s horrible to cut down all those trees for Hitlery’s book without putting it to some use: It may end up as a bird’s nest or fountain or other sculpture if this really wonderful artist, Jukee Kwon is given the extra copies.
This page from the October Gallery in London shows you what she (Jukee) does with old books. http://www.octobergallery.co.uk/artists/kwon/
