I hope every one here eager to spit on Todd Akin is really pleased with not having taken that seat from Claire McCaskill. One statement that perhaps could have been worded better and you are too pleased to throw him under the bus. One statement. Wow. Karl Rove and the GOP-E thank you for providing the hammer to beat the Tea Party. Nice. Were I a Missouri voter, I'd have voted gladly for the reliable conservative voter that Akin is, to oust McCaskill. Gladly.

Second that motion. Don't understand the continued hate of Akin here on this website for conservatives.

Stupid should hurt.
I don’t care how conservative someone is if they are a moron they deserve to be thrown under the bus, and kept there.

I am, I did, and I still do support Todd Akin.
Who among us has NEVER misspoken? While his comment wasn't worded well, the media and McCaskill took advantage of Todd's comments to further their agenda and campaign. I think it's time for all of us to move past the misspoken words and work/fight together to save our country!!!

A smart person knows his wider audience and phrases things so they can be understood by the electorate. Perception is everything! Even if he was technically correct in some cases, the voters are going to have a knee ner reaction to such a blanket statement. He’s not a doctor.
