yup. we’re loosing those on our own side.
Time to hunker down, prepare, prepare to defend and ride out the storm.
It is not the responsibility of the House to gauge the probability of a conviction in the Senate. If the House believes that Obama has committed high crimes and misdemeanors and has consistently engaged in a pattern of lawlessness, then it is their constitutional duty to vote on articles of impeachment. Anything less is a dereliction of their own sworn oaths.
I don’t give a damn about the political ramifications. The members of the House have a duty at this time to impeach him and the members of the Senate have the same duty to remove him from office.
If we can’t convince Freepers (of all people) of this fact, then the country is indeed lost.
Obama may never be removed from office. But that does not relieve Boehner and the House from their sworn duty to defend the Constitition against all enemies, foreign and domestic.
