The Goths were refugees from the Huns when they broke into the Roman Empire. We all know how that turned out.
Refuge? From what? From where? More drivel from HHS. Our government is totally out of control, no leadership from any department whatsoever.
The only basis for the assertion was Jesus’ sojourn in Egypt as a child — moved from one province of the Roman Empire to another to get away from danger from local authorities. The Holy Family’s decision was more like moving to another state because the local sheriff has it in for you. If they’d decamped to the Persian Empire to get away for Herod, then Jesus would have been a refugee.
A Federal official talking about JESUS???!!!! Beyond the fact that he’s completely OTL on this, what ever happened to their claim of “separation of church and state”?
They use Christianity when it suites their purposes.
Usually they ignore Christianity when inconvenient, like when discussing abortion,
He was also murdered, so what exactly is the point?
Hey Eskinder, Chapter(s) and verse(s)?
You know, the Nazis had pieces of flair that they made the Jews wear.
That IS how it works...
This guy is representative of the ‘tards who are going to be deciding whether to return these illegals or give then a ‘golden ticket’: life on the US welfare gravy train.
There was a story here also about the Catholic church too: whenever a ‘mother’ illegal walked into a chapel where aid was being provided, the aid workers would rise and applaud.
Impeach Obama and start taxing political religious organizations!
As I recall from reading the Gospels Jesus never went to Babylon or Egypt and expected their rulers to subsidize him for life, give their decrees in Hebrew or build Jewish temples at government expense. While he was from Nazareth and likely spoke Aramaic at home he still was literate in Hebrew and spoke it well.
Paul? Is that you?
Jesus MAY have been a refugee——
But the answer is in the statement:
A as in ONE.
Not over 60,000 & growing each day.
LOL - good one.
