Seems that I’ve read about that sort of thing happening in Great Britain. Moving elderly pensioners out of their homes and into apartments.

I wouldn’t doubt it. I saw stuff like that from their healthcare system during the 11 years we lived there.

A neighbor’s 70 year old father told he would receive no more dialysis because they were at capacity and had a younger man with a young family that needed it. So in the NHS doctor’s eyes, if you’re 70 and need it, too bad because someone younger will get it instead.
