I agree about that - but what horrified me were these two callers. Obviously nice people, and not dumb, but WOW were they clueless to the big picture. They couldn't even think in terms of the big picture. They were pathetic really. Rush was flumoxed - he couldn't really put his finger on what was bugging him about them, but poor ole Ed just could not think past the immediate circumstances.
Clueless.
It’s such a shame that Ed and Ann are faced with this.
They have their friends in the church and they believe
in doing good - But they are smarter than the other
church members (they are not sheeple) they realize
the problems and their friends don’t. So if they don’t
go along they will be shunned. I hope they hold another
meeting on their own and talk some sense into the other
members.
Something about them set off Rush’s BS meter.
It almost seemed like a set-up....Ed kept lamenting that there wasn’t enough coordination between agencies, etc...gee I wonder if Obama’s multi-billion dollar request would help ‘coordinate’ the agencies better.
And they kept using the term ‘FEMA Camp’...and ole Ed started talking about Ebola - and Rush challenged him on that.
The whole call seemed misguided and hyperbolic - would a Diocese really ask their parish to ‘not talk to the media’...and if they did, would they really expect the big secret to not be exposed instantly.
I think they were baiting Rush, and he did a good job of not biting.
Exactly- after mentioning “FEMA camps” 50 times, Eddie FINALLY mentioned Cloward - Piven/overwhelm the system.
Welcome to the party, Eddie. He and Ann need to buy several clues. The scary thing is, this is the majority of the country’s thinking :(
