The “don’t enable” argument has the problem that it never will stop. God Himself would never show any grace if He were worried about “don’t enable.” The big picture needs to be looked at.
While God will talk to our hearts and convict us out of love while we are actively sinning, he will not answer our prayers and cannot save us until we acknowledge our wrong-doing.
Those who are breaking our laws and coming to take the freebies that our broken system offers are nothing better than thieves and robbers and a good analogy can be made to John 10:1
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber.
Such too are those who refuse, in a secular manner, to come in by the already proscribed legal manner, but instead, come up by some other way to take what is not theirs legally, taxpayer provided social benefits.
Furthermore, the Old Testament is clear, that those who are visitors in foreign countries are to obey those laws.
God does not enable a sinner when He saves them, he requires a Repentance, or an acknowledgement (at least) of the sinfulness of their behavior before he will save the sinner.
These Baptist Men are truly enabling those who would break our laws to do just that.
