I would assume that the Murrieta Border Patrol Station is federal property.

Murrieta Station
25762 Madison Avenue
Murrieta, California 92592
(951) 816-3000

If so, the city and state have no say over it. In the next few days, I’ll be looking into the laws regarding the lands on which Border Patrol stations sit.

I think that's why they are shipping them out of Texas, since the feds have very little land in the State of Texas, outside of military reservations.

Please let me know what you find out.

By just looking at the satellite photos of the address, it's a typical police station with office area and antenna. It does not appear to have housing facilities, and is across from some industrial storage areas. The mall, and town proper, are about a mile north.

It seems to me that simply having an office in the area does not give Obama jurisdiction to run roughshod over the town. It seems to me that the state of California, and the county, have jurisdiction. This is not like some BLM claim on vast tracts of unused and undesirable grazing land. This is a civic center in a county in a state.

Obama is acting as if all of the United States is the King's land.
