They put it in there so that dupes like you can argue that Google is being patriotic. It’s camouflage. Google is a bunch of leftists. It’s perfectly reasonable to doubt their motives on a July 4th graphic. I don’t know why you’re being so credulous.

I like to look at an even bigger picture and trace the way the Lord can make even the unwilling praise Him. It is said that hypocrisy is the tribute that vice pays to virtue.

I think of why would we want to have music. If our hearts were inclined enough towards the Lord to understand, our 4th of July should be an occasion of praise. America wrenched itself free from Britain, but more importantly it also wrenched itself free from a state church. This would help guard against unholy alliances that would eventually drag the church down, as we can see with today’s Church of England. America has in part become quite wicked today and yet the church is not tied to it; it is still there defying the tyranny of Satan.

First you say there is nothing patriotic in the Google signon. Now you say that it is there, but Google put in the Fourth of July parade, American Flag and American Patriotic Music just to dupe us.
