How is that different? The job of the young is to get jobs, find mates, marry and create families. It’s not 1968. Most young people won’t get political until Washington starts touching their lives in ways they don’t like. Like what happened with us...

And stupid older people? Do you really want that group getting ‘more involved’? God help us....

The crux of the matter is whether people will vote cultural or economic issues. In 1992 the GOP bet on culture (which was solidly with us) and the Dems on economics (which was somewhat with them). We lost.

When the GOP pivoted to economic (and by extension good government) issues in 1994 we won.

If the Dems are betting on cultural issues and not economics, history is against them. If they turn out to be right, history is against all of us.
